I ended up buying the CDL electric extractor. I know where to connect the main lines and the vac but when connecting to the pump where do I put the check valve and where do i connect the 1/4" line. Does check valve go before pump or after? Thanks Rick

Put the check valve between the pump and releaser so if the pump stops the vac from the releaser doesnt suck oil or dirt into the unit.

The check valve goes on the discharge side of your pump, so as to not lose the prime, also you should have got fittings that will connect the small line in between the check valve and the pump and that will go back to the releaser which will neutralize the vacuum on the releaser pump.

That check valve has nothing to do with the vacuum pump

I will have a check valve on the vac as well. But it is the one connected to the sap pump I am questioning. If I have this correct it goes extractor, sap pump, then 1/4" line back to extractor (to balance pressure),than check valve. Just double checking. Thanks 802Maple!! Rick

Chuck I am putting a vac check valve at the vac pump to stop backward rotation! Rick

Hey Rick
Yeah you have it right. Make sure that all of your connections are completely air or water tight or you won't like your releaser as it will loose prime.
