just another plug for people who may be looking at getting a splitter. I cant tell you how much time it saved to have such a fast rig especially splitting pine. Any splitter is a big investment (or it was for me) and I rented and borrowed for many years but I am really happy with this for the second season. If people are in Maine area I would always be welcome to lending it out or having people come see it before they buy. I had to drive to the guy who makes them to see it since I couldn't find anyone local to check it out. The guy who make them is an....uhh....interesting fella. BUT seems like a great product and treated me well for syrup.
