I think it was mentioned they would work on about everything but CDL, but not certain about it.

The CV adapters will work on most 7/16" stubbies and spouts. If the IPL spouts are 19/64" or 5/16" they won't work. IPL/CDL does make adapters so that you can put something new in the tap hole, but not CV's.

Correct. If you're trying them out, don't go from one stubby to the next with the same adapter. The plastic molds a tiny bit to each other, so the configuration geometry changes slightly when you put the adapter on a stubby. This is normal.

The CV will fit the Leader stubby or the Lappierre stubby, but they do not fit the IPL stubby. There is to much play with the IPL stubby and the CV will just fall off.

Hey thanks guys for answering me to, I didnt know about the cdl or ipl, but i knew it fit most of the stubbies anyway,

We put 400 of them in at our school. neat little things just dont hit them too hard. we had a kid just pound on them an broke a few. this all was after about a week of replacing drop lines for about 2 hrs. then we got an entire day to finish up. i got the fun task of doing ALL of the end rings. hopefully i can tap at my house today. sick yesterday and today but feelin tons better. Cant wait to see the sap boiling hard!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the advantage of changing my 7/16" spouts to stubbies for the CV adapters? I have a lot of IPL 7/16" spouts, and the stubbies fit them tightly.
