when you add a preheater with a hood does it decrease the ammount of foam that you get in the back pan? i have a raised flue with an extra tall pan and when i put my preheater on it blocks any access to skimming foam just wondering what to expect :?:

Haven't skimmed foam yet with my hood and preheater. Three reason:
1. It is too hot with all the steam inside.
2. Haven't seen any too skim as the entire flue pan boils hard
3. Isn't much room to skim anyway.
:D :D

I just put a drop or two of milk in there when it foams up and it knocks it right down.
