Does anyone know how much a used 7" short bank should cost?
I have a guy who wants to sell me one. It's 5yrs old and looks like new?

I paid $975 for one that sounds about the same age and condition a couple of years ago. All I know is used ones in good condition go fast!

I have a WES-FAB short 7 I wouldn't take $850 for! beside you can't replace it for $850!!

I paid 900 for mine but it also came with a 10 gallon filter tank with spout and thermometer mounted on it, a stainless cart, box of filters and bag of DE and a flat stainless pan to go under it! I made out fairly well.

Paid $550 for my used d&g maybe 5-6 years ago. had to make my own stand for it but it did have kind of it's own frame. then after filtering roughly 1000-1200 gallons of syrup i had to put a new pump on it at the end of last season. so I have about $900 into mine with the unit, homemade stand, and a new pump.

It's called depreciation. I realize I can't replace me press for $850. There are not very many things in this world that sell for more "used" than what they cost "new".

jdj; If you sold it for more than you paid for it Good Job! and I have no idea what a new one cost? But my guess it is more than $850..some one got a deal!

I was looking around. they run 1375$ new. with most things used is about half
of the new price, but not with maple equip. Bascom has one listed for 950$.
I think I'll offer him 800 & see what he says. Thanks for the info ..
