Sealing between pans???

What is the proper way to seal between the flue pan and finish pan on a drop flue?

Jim Mine is setup with a ceramic blanket folded and sewn with a peice f flat steel slid down the middle. One in the back of the flue pan one in between flue pan and syrup pan and one in the front of the syrup pan. The came with the evaporator. Why do you ask it says you don't have an evaporator???????

Pan gasket material that the factories sell pre cut, or strips cut from leftover blanket insulation from insulating the arch. I do the latter.
