Well I finally got it out of my system I test fired the new evaporator and I was impressed. I still have some minor bugs to work out but should be in good shape when it comes time to boil. Only problem was the weather windy and rainy made it difficult. I had a lot of wind across the stack so the syrup pan didn't really have a hard boil. That and the steam kept blowing back in the saphouse there were a few times I couldn't see across the pans. I plan on boiling it again on a better day but I got the first one out of my system.
