last year i just had a tube draining the condensate into a pail and washed my hydrometer and such in that, worked ok but i often forgot to empty the pail and it overflowed on the floor! so this year after i added my preheater in the hood i will have even more condensate, so i decided to mount a 20 gallon square stainless tank in an unused corner of the sugarhouse to collect the condensate. the tank was from a fire truck, some sorta priming tank or something i think, my father got it many years ago. then ran 1/2 copper across the wall to a bar sink i got outa the trash, took and bent the back up on the brake to make it like a backsplash, and bent up some stainless to go against the end of the countertop and over the backsplash, just tig welded the corners to keep the water out
