Will 2500 degree refractory cement work in a fire box, or should I go with 3000 degree cement?

I used the 2500 cement last year and held good for me. It did fine, a few areas where I need to add more, but this was due to me missing the areas or not counting on shrinkage.

Talked to a Maple Pro rep this past weekend about bricking up my arch. He said that if its a normal arch than temps will reach around 1900F if its a forced air unit than you could see temps around 2500F
