Vaccum tank?

I have a surge milk cooling storage tank. I would like to use this as a vacuum tank. The tank is a model 80710. Is this tank made for vacuum?

i would guess that it is not set up for vacuum- most of the ones that you can put vac on are labeled as such. any photos? what does it have for lids?

Man-iac, are you talking about a milk bulk tank. Or, is this some part of the compressor/cooling system?

With Zero tanks if it is rated for vacuum it will say vacuum on the side. I don't know about the surge you have other than post some pics that might help.I have a 400 gal zero vacuum tank .

I know that Surge made vacuum bulk milk tanks. My understanding was that they would not withstand as much vacuum as the zero tanks.
