finshing units

i was thinking of buying a finshing unit and looking for feed back on them.

I bought the 15x15 finish pan with lid and valve fom wegnerwelding in Wisconsin. Its on ebay right now for $125.00 He's on this site. Seems like good quality and a very good price.

Learn to make syrup on your evaporator, and use a small "finisher" for canning of syrup.
As far as who has the best one, they are all about the same--It would be a matter of preference.

Are you planning on use it for filtering? If you might want to use it for filtering then either a 12X20 or 16X24 to do so since they are designed to hold a filter rack. Look in the different manufactuers catalogs and you will see the ones available. There really isn't much different in syles though

Even if you finish in the evap and only use the finisher for filtering keep in mind that its also your storage of finished syrup before you final filter and bottle so get one thats big enough.
