How many taps can a good Surge Alamo 30 plus pump handle? I have a few different sized lines that I'd like to get on vacuum and I am wondering which line would this pump handle and how much vacuum it could pull?

i have one rebuilt it last year had it on 700 taps it pulled 24 inchs has a reclaimer i put a box fan on it to help cool it . worked very well found a sihi at a reasonable price so going to switch it out this year and save alamo for a back up or another woods.

Not sure on cfm's. If it works that is all I need to know. I do have 3 oilers on all 4 of my pumps.

I am not a vacuum genius so bare with me....I am comparing a Delaval 75 with a 3hp motor to a Surge Alamo 30 Plus with a 1.65hp motor. What do you guys think????

There are about 1400 on it now.

I've only used alamos and love them. I would think that the larger motor on the delaval would mean more cfm's and the ability to run more taps than the alamo. If it was me the cost of the pumps would factor in also.
