okay a question for the more math able than I- looked at a tank the other day that was 8 ft long, 2 ft wide and 3 feet high- roughly rectangular- when I did the math it came out to roughly 350 gallons- can anyone confirm this? thanks

Eric thats very close to right. Its cubic footage 2x3x8=48 times 7.5 gallons is 360 gallons. You have 7.5 gallons in one cubic foot. If it is rectangular. Merry Chistmas Keith & Michelle

Isn't it sad we need to ask our kids how to do the math? I don't for math, but sure do for lots of computer questions. The 359 will be real close but to the tip top you will get a little more because the bottom and sides will bow somewhat and only use will give that difference. It might only be a few gallons or might be as much as 10 or even 15 gal.
