I plan on running an sp11 on about 400-500 taps this spring and i was wondering how fast you can spin these pumps without destroying them?

the target RPM according to Surge is 440 to 475 RPM- they reccomend a .5 hp to .85 hp motor with a 3 1/4" sheave on the motor and a 12" sheave on the pump. 9 to 10 cfm.

if you find any more SP-11's, I'm always looking...

I don't know about the rpm's but I run my SP-11 at around 21" hour after hour. I do not have electricity so I run it with a Honda 5.5 hp at less than half idle.

ya i dont have electricity for mine either so i got a 6.5 hp motor for it and have a 12 inch pulley on the pump.
Mark, how big of pulleys are you running on your setup?
