Where do you suggest getting firebricks and ref. cement? Leader seems a little pricey, bascoms is reasonable but a 6 hour drive for me.

I get mine at a masonary supply store. Same stuff but local and cheaper.

i,de check with local lumber yards in your area..my dad got a really good price last year from our local lumber yard.and likes been said in the other post..thats a good place too.

Late post, I know, but I buy mine right there at Victor Coal & Lumber. They can order for you if they don't have in stock.

Chris I bought mine from northern concrete and block in Fulton. They had skids and skids of full and split brick and a heck of alot cheaper than anywhere else I could find them.

Plus you can get boiler cement that is what you want for holding things together
