We, at 7:00, had about 15" of wet snow, and am guessing as of this post we're at about 17 and climbing with wind. I had my 7' blower on my 43 hp tractor,........temp was about 30* so the stuff was WET! It did OK. Did real well when I was able to take only about 2/3 swath.

It was the first time I had a blower on this tractor, as well the first time I had run a blower of this size.

Took my time but the tractor got a workout! (but that was good for her)

...and it's headed this way! We're forecasted to get 12" with 16"+ in the moutains.

PeteS - what kind of tractor and blower do you have? I'm just curious to see what others are using. We run a 40hp '61 Allis-Chalmers D15 with a loader. Does good, but the windchill sure gets old.

Pete S,
We've got 9.5" so far, wind is a bit gusty.
Heard on the news the Wisconcin highway departments are staying off the roads it's so bad.
Ok time to snow blow!!

Only six inches here in VT so far but it will blow all night with gusts past 50 mph and 22 degreesF and falling. Good thing there are no snowbanks as yet to hold the drifts. Next years sugar wood will self select and be on the ground by morning.

I got about a foot maybe more, changed to sleet at 3pm its raining now,but hovering at 33 degrees. It pushed hard. Slowed down my big 4x4 Zetor for the first time plowing.
