Has anyone looked into the possibility of predicting sugar content in the spring by testing the sap from the previous fall? In other words , if I test the sap this nov. and it has high content , does this mean the following season will also be good or is there no connection?

If you were to drill just a 1/16" hole and use a refactormeter the hole would be healed in a matter of days. All it takes is a few drops on the end of a tooth pick.

Can you say cull tree. Drill it in half if you want to. From what I am understanding is sugar content in the fall is 33 to 50 percent less than in the spring.
