white ones

Anyone else have sugars with white bark?

Seemed odd to me, wondering if there are more.

The one woods I tap there's a few tree's that have a silver look to them

lots of my young trees have significant white areas on the smooth bark. Looks like a lichen to me and doesn't seem to harm the trees since these are healthy and growing fast.

I am told by a woodsman that the wood in those trees seems to be very hard.
