Hello everyone. I''m trying out a third party web survey site to use from time to time on the Trader, but I need to put it through it's paces first. If you have a minute, click the link below to take the survey (just 2 questions). You don't need to sign up for any account or provide any personal information at all, and the service is free to use, for us and for you. You can also click the second link to view the results of the survey.

I'm hoping to be able to use this to poll members for info like the number of taps you put out, or how many gallons of syrup you made. This survey site appears to let you enter you own info, not just select it from a list, and I'm curious to see how it reports that data back.

Just realized a possible flaw... right now there's nothing to prevent a guest on the forum from responding to the survey. That might skew results. Need to work on that.

Why use an out side web site for a poll instead of the poll feature on the Trader?

the poll tools here only allow one question at a time, and you have to select answers from a list. For example, there's no way for us to do a poll where we ask what everyone's profession is, since you'd need to type your answer. I had a request for a survey for the coming season to see how many taps we all put out. I'm searching fr something that could get that job done easily.
