Just wondering if these tanks would be alright for sap storage? They are on sale at TSC this week 30% off. I was thinking of the leg style or pickup!! This the flyer page 7 http://zegapi.com/view/?book_name=TSC9A

Those are great prices for those tanks. I have a 210 gallon pickup tank I've used for collecting my roadside buckets for 5 years and 2 125 gallon legs tanks for gravity tubing. They work great and are fairly easy to handle.

I take it these tanks are okay to use for sap storage. Ken sorry you can't get the page to open just go to tsc.ca and check the flyer on there site use Stratford as the store. I looked at the tanks a couple of weeks ago and asked a couple employees if they were food grade and they said I don't think so!! Just want to be sure they are okay before I buy a couple.
Thanks for any input!!

I use 2 leg style tanks and an upright and according to the Mfgrs they are for potable water, and there for food grade.

I have a couple of these tanks (the pickup one and the vertical ones) and they are the same ones that are sold by the maple mfg's and Bascom's. They come from a plant on Ohio and are fine. Save the money and buy them from TSC.

Those are great prices!

Ken,

There is a TSC in Barre, VT but a closer option for you is the one in Littleton, NH. About 20 miles south of St Johnsbury, VT on I-93. An added plus to Littleton is no sales tax. If you ever go there give a shout, I'll meet you for a coffee.

I can't even open the thing going to the web site. Must be something weird.

I will have to get a map out and check this out. Of course it would be a US dollars also.

Thanks for everyone's input. I picked up a 325 leg style and a 210 vertical pickup tank, great deal basically got the 210 for nothing with them 30% off.:)
