Last Monday (on the 40th Anniversary of the moon landing no less) my brother and his wife welcomed their first baby, via C-section. Jax Emery Delaney. During the delivery, my sister in law suffered an aortic rupture and was rushed to BayState Medical in Springfield, where apparently the best surgeons in the state for this kind of thing do their work. And they did. Twelve hour surgery, and she came out and was able to be discharged in just a week! The family's all home now, doing great, resting and recuperating.
