Just saw an ad on Albany Clist for 6 gallon plastic buckets. 400 available at $1 apiece. Phone 518-496-7092.

Are they the pail type or a regular hanging bucket?

I have no idea Fred, just happened to see the ad and wondered if someone here might be interested. I don't even know if they are food grade.

I would think that a 6 gallons they got to be pails. Otherwise that is one big bucket.

They are buckets for Texas trees. I hear they have to empty them 3 times a day also. I found a couple pails this summer finally. There is a drive in that's only open in the summer months in town that goes thru a lot of pails. Once in a while I can get one that isn't full of oil.

Also on CL, Albany are 500 clean, new 5 gal buckets for $1 each. They are in Malta. Don't know if they have lids. I'm still debating since I use them for honey too. :)

I love Craigslist. I'll bet you could build a house just from stuff offered for free. You could certainly furnish one!
