Has anyone got any info on a Memtech MRO40 RO? Are they any good? What are they worth?

The only thing I can tell you is that memtek was like the first generation Ro for the maple industry. They were big and bulky. And if I remember correctly they used a three stage piston pump for the presure. Like a presure washer pump. I do know that some are still in use today.

I have a Mtech econotek 300 which I think is very simular. They are old, big, heavy, noisey, and if you take care of them they run forever and work great. They are several of them in use here in my area. I even know were there is a Econotek 900 which is the twin membraine version for sale. with old NF70 membraines it will do about 375 gallons an hour, if you put the newer NF270 in it it should push closer to 450

There is an old guy on our street that has made syrup for 35 years that has a Memtec and all the rest of his gear up for sale. He's 82. He has an medium sized oil fired evap, pumps, tanks etc.

If you're interested send me a PM and I'll pass his name along.
