Orange 5 gallon buckets from Home Depot?

I have read that the buckets from HD are ok to use for sap collection. Does the orange color make any difference as far as food grade quality?

Turn them over and see if they have a 2 in the triangle on the bottom.

If you can hot pack syrup in them then Im sure you can put cold sap in them
