Like Russ said this is research there are many who make there living doing research and consulting. Except in mapleling we are here to help each other not charge for the consultation.
As for the labor part of it ya you are right to nice of a day to be inside. I got lots of wood waiting for me to cut.

really,i like it alot..it,s just that it,s really got me thinking about maple and how baddly i want a few 1000 taps.. :D i thought so much about maple i went and bought a fixer upper 4x16 king arch and i,ve been driving around looking for untapped trees that i might be able to rent or buy the sap from.
i,ve also spent countless hours learning about ro,s and i,ve been hunting up ideas and parts to build my own.
i,,ve been involved with sugaring my whole life but i want my own operation now.

My other favorite is Peak Oil forums. I know a lot of people and we talk about what's happening. A lot of them are farmers.
