10,500 GPH? That's... 175 GPM. Is that even possible? Sounds like a hell of a deal, though.

175 GPM!!!!!!!!!!!!! not withthat size an engine. I am guessing that is not more than 8 to 10 HP on that pump if that.

I'll bet that pump will do all that. I'm currently using a 2" pump similar to that with a Honda engine, probably 5 hp, that will do about 180 with 2" line. I throttle down to 1 1/2" for ease of handling, so only get 60-80gpm, pumping uphill 15' or more.

I have had to pump hundreds of thousands of gallons of liquid with a 2 inch pump. Moves a lot of water. Can't see any sugar maker haveing all that much sap at one time even at a 100 gallons a minute you could move 500 gallons in 5 minutes or 60,000 gallons a hour.

Check the warrenty! We have a company here in Canada that sells the similar type "China stuff" but their warranty is "no sale is final until you are satisfied". I tried the warrenty out this season with a 1" 2 stroke transfer pump, 1 year old, they excanged it for a new 1 1/2" 4 stroke pump no questions asked.

The problem with the "China stuff" is it's a crap shoot on how long it works. My first pump never worked right from day 1, the new pump is working good for now.

Buying at Princess Auto again Walker. I miss that place since they do not operate in Quebec. I used to visit the store once a week back in Calgary. We had a generator that looked like a Honda except that you had to turn it off to turn it on and the voltage switch was backward also.
