Anyone use a clear glass growler for bottling? Typically used for bottling beer. Nice half gallon (64oz) size with metal screw cap. Fits in the fridge nice - looks like a bigger version of a little gallone. Plus....it has a cool name.

I tried some this year that I got from Fillmore Container, www.filmorecontainer.com . Nice jugs with lined plastic caps. Selling them to local buyers and offering a dollar rebate for returned jugs that we can reuse next year. Syrup sure looks nice in glass.

Ian, I think THIS (http://www.fillmorecontainer.com/Jars/64-oz-Loop-Jug-CT.htm) is the site you meant. Your link was missing an "l", took me to a search-redirect site. You're right, syrup sure does look nice in glass, and those are some nice prices. $1.47 for half gallon growlers before shipping.
