does anyone know of anything I can use for a small vacuum tank 50 to 100 gal. i am trying to make it work without a releaser.

how about a 55 gal syrup barell , i'd like to do the samething if you get it to work let me know how you did it

I think when you get into small tanks that can be vacuumed you are dealing with higher-end processing equipment and big $$.

The key item is the material used in the tank
You should be using stainless which basically rules out plain steel which will rust and ruin your sap
So that leaves Zero milk tanks as your cheapest provided it is vac. rated
Vac is strong and will implode an ordinary steel container in a heart beat.
And without atleast 15" of Hg there is no real gain.
I suppose you could get a large dia. piece of plastic water main like 15 or 18" and make something that way

I have tried 55 gal syrup drum it will only stand about 8 lbs vacumm
