Hi! Im new to the trader and I was just curious how everyones season was going. I live in Northern Pa and my trees seemed to have dried up about a week ago:confused: I Tapped around March 5th and reamed the holes around the20th. I have out 225 taps and I have gathered less than 100 gallons in the last week. I talked to neighboring sugar houses and they say their trees are still going strong. anyone else having this problem?

Last tuesday was the last run I got, all done for the year. I'd say the season ended about a week early for me, compared to the historical average.

The season in this part of MA was one week shorter than last as well. Combine that with lower sugar% and lower overall volume... I was hoping for better. There's always next year.

I have 600 taps. Almost half of them were tapped on feb 6th. I just came in from checking tanks and buckets and everytihng is running strong. Many buckets are half full since 1:00 this afternoon. I should have gathered tonight because at the rate everything is running most buckets will be running over by morning. This will be the last. I will take what this warmup gives for sap and be done for the season.

Almost finished for year - maybe two more boils. Good year all light syrup so far - 500 taps - 58 gallons made - sweetness highest ever

Its good to hear someone had a good year. every thing i made was on the dark side. talked to other producers and theirs was the same all dark very little light. sap % was very low for me this year with an average of around 1.6%. my trees started running good again yesterday, Sugar is low but will take what I can get.
