St. Albans Festival

My wife wants to go to the festival in St. Albans. What's worth going to and what's going to keep me interested as a producer and my wife and daughter interested as spectators.

the open houses at the equipment dealers are interesting -check for the seminars- the St Albans festival is a bit like a county fair w/ rides, etc...at least that was my impression when I was up there two years ago...I'll probably go up for the open houses...

Be sure to be there for the sugarhouse tours. There's always something to learn -even if it's what not to do

if you want to keep you wife interested in maple take her. go to all the open houses. leader, maple pro,lapearre, d and g. mine wants to do the sugar house tour this year. hold on to your check book . my wife bought a new cream machine last year when i was not looking.

Is this something I should bring a blank check and my truck and trailer to? How good are the deals? Are they better than Bascom's open house? What about used equipment?

Always bring your trailer, cause if you don't buy anything someone might need equipment hauled. If not, then I'll be going up to Swanton VT on the 18th with my truck and trailer.

Maple Pro has the best hot dogs!! All of the open houses are awesome. Usually a few good deals to be had also

I went to the festival website and saw the sugar house tours, but not the seminars. Any info. on those?
