When buying a new evaporator if the warranty is an important factor be sure that you see it in writting before you buy. I my own case I was told that I had a lifetime warranty and 24 hour service during sugaring season. The warranty only applies to things made by the builder. So if any of the metals fail it is not covered. If a weld fails it is covered but not the welding rod. When my grates failed after 2 1/2 seasons I was told to go to Bascom's which BTW is 300 mile away. All I have to say is buyer beware.

See the problems we've discussed about this now? its just gotten out of hand when I've tried to enact anything on the "LIFETIME WARRANTY" so frustrating
