I pulled taps .flushed lines with peroxide and tap holes are already drying up here in Xenia Ohio. Cleaning up for next year. Made 45 gal. syrup = 200 taps

With only 35 taps to worry about I'm going to see if I can get a small boil this weekend. Not much to loose over here and I'm having way too much fun...

I did what I believe was my last boil today. No low temps in the near future, Red's are in full bud (even though I don't use them I look at that as a sign), and the syrup I made today and Tuesday had an off flavor. All good reasons to believe the end of the season is here.

yea i am most likely pulling taps tomorrow, i know i have some half buckets out in my woods but i see this morning i have a nice frost, 25*F, just wait and see if they run or not

finished up yesterday. 60 gallons in the book, not to bad but always would like to do more.
