A fellow stopped by to look at the 4x12 and we got talking vacume,,,,,he said he had a Honda 5 hp moter hooked to a 3/4" oberdorfer pump hooked to the end of his main line,,started it up when it starts to run and it works great,,does anyone out there use this system??? it seems like it would eat itself up if it did not have any fluid going thru it ???I have a couple of spots where I cant justify the whole vacume- releaser deal......Thanks

Chipa-can you tell me a little about it, and how much is it? Is it the kind that rolls over the tubes??

the pump consists of a flexible tube in a frame that is compressed by 3 spinning rollers (creates peristalic motion). The tube has to be replaced at least once a season because of wear. The rollers are powered by a 1/3 hp electric motor (110 v). I am asking $400.
