View Full Version : Back from the sugarhouse

Just got home from the sugarhouse, been boiling since 7 PM tuesday. boiled down 230 gallons of sap and ended up with 5.5 gallons of syrup, which brings us to 9 gallons for the season so far. definetly need a bigger evap for next year lol. will post pictures tomorrow. good luck everyone.

Nice pics Scott. Nice looking syrup too. This can get to be an addition if your not careful. :) . Good to see you here in the AM just forgot witch one it was. You best get ready because it's coming this week. I'm hoping for 2 gallons a tap. Keep up the good work.

headed out the door right now, ill be boiling til the sap is gone (hopefully be home at a decent hour thurs night) will report back when i return.
