How much dry ice?

I read on another thread to put dry ice in a fuel oil tank in order to cut it. How much dry ice would be necessary in a 275 gallon that is drained and rinsed with water? Thanks

The dry ice is to displace the oxygen I guess, to prevent vapors from igniting.

You wouldn't need much more then a pound of it. It creates a lot of vapour.
