Anyone using any kind of diphragm pump for vacuum?

I have 2 pumps that are 3 diaphragm rotory pumps driven by a small engine. They are good pumps.

I was just wondering about any potential problems with ice in the pump when it freezes at night.

Any thoughts?

I have a 3 diaphram pump that I try to drain every night and they do not have as high as vaccum but are easy to use
