All 12 taps that is:) Did it with the kids afterschool, they loved it (and so did I) Made some final mods. to the Ashley evaporator, (thanks Mac Mugz) hope it does the trick. If not I'll just throw some cinderblocks down for this year. Got to run down the road to Shelly's and get a few last minute items. Guess we got them in just in time for it to shut down for a few days, supposed to get real cold till Sat. Enjoy your season everyone.

We had our first boil on Sunday, made a little less than a quart, very dark of course but quite tasty. Beautiful day. The ashley "sap-u-lator" in action. Getting by, but always scheming for better!:D Sap should be running decent today!

I like the way you are getting the sap and the saphaulers around. Your setup looks good and will do fine this year. Have fun and enjoy the pancakes with syrup.

:D Yeah, the yama and jet sled do a great job. Works well for hauling sap and wood. Still a lot of snow in the woods but going fast. Man, the forecast for the next week looks quite prime for some serious sap! Did you notice the boat in the back just itching to get out of the snowbank though:) Good luck keeping up this next week everyone.

Well we boiled and boiled and boiled yesterday, 11 hours to do 26 gallons on my little rig. Either I've got to pull my taps or come up with a different evap., I'm too old for this.:D Did make for some really nice batch syrup, this is what I ended up with. I'd kill for just 5 gph!
