got all our taps in on friday not running very good on saterday,got the vacuum pump up and running in 400 taps on sunday morning and boy what a differance. should be boiling on monday.

First year on vac for me and its a big differnce with runs,If it wasnt for vac this weekend i wouldnt have any sap at all, got 400 gallons really slow flow here in saranac but its better than nothing, boiling tomorow, How many are you running on vac this year ?

Started tapping wednesday,finished today +/-1450 buckets,500 on vacuum.Now just waiting for the new syrup pan.Dropped it off last oct,suppost to be done this week.

i'm running only about 400 on vac.my buckets are about 1/4 full so i think all we've got so far was just trunk sap from tapping, but i have 250- 300 gal of sap to gather off the vac. got to love it! !

All right enough already! Trunk sap?? I'm starting to tap today and I will be looking for BIG TRUNKSAP. Reports are from those that have tapped in my area its been pretty slow.

trunk sap is what some of us referr to as the sap you get when you first drive a spout and thats all you get until the ground starts to thaw or the temps get freezing at night.

We're getting there. So far about 1300 buckets out. Hopefully the rest will be out today.
