Sap coffee

Looks like we're in for some fun this weekend! First bucket I empty is going right into my coffee maker. Then some to marinate chicken.

I make sap coffee every year ....good stuff

Hmm.. might have to try that this year!

Have a coffee maker at the sugar house just for that purpose. You can control the level of maple flavor by how concentrated your sap is. Taste great and keeps the eyelids open.

And clean with hot condensate later...so self sufficient

I made a pot this morning, not baaaaad. Probably be even better a little concentrated like Mark said. We're having "sapinated" chicken on the grill for dinner tonight too. Have fun folks, I know I AM.
