I also have a 2x6. It's a small bros. raised flue. I just added a blower this year. On my test boil it seems to really get things jumping!

Hows it going lyle..I got 205 in this afternoon should have another 300 or so in tomorrow.I am going for 900 this season instead of 700.I am almost ready

900 taps! That should keep you busy! I'm 99% ready, just waiting for the warm up. Good luck this year. Let it flow let it flow let it flow.

ya there will be plenty of sap,i have a few spots i tap..2 spots on madden road and 1 on whitman rd.Lyle you wright in stephentown?

We tapped mid-February here in Chatham - a little anxious I guess! We went to a 2 x 6 this year from a 34 inch square flat pan. We made 2 gallons last Saturday and a couple more today. The run was fair. We've been adding taps here and there - up to a little over 100.

I would have tapped earlier myself but I wasn't quite ready untill now. Partsrus, I am on Gentile road. Closer to East Nassau than to Stephentown. Some of my taps are in Leb. Springs.

No, I'm tapped on the east side on the Mass. bordr. I don't know whose taps those are on west road.
