I collected adout 200 gallons yesterday i don't thin it is enough to fill and run the evap with the piggyback it looks as though we are going to get nothing till the end of next week. can i run th evap with out the piggybak fillied just to get the sap going so it doesnt spoil. or will it ruin the piggy back what should i do?

i had a steamaway, and could run it dry becuase it has no direct heat. should be the same but i dont know the specs on a piggyback
