Tapped in Crown Point NY last weekend!!!!!

Put out 65 taps last weekend with my kids. Some trees already running others not. Hoping to get a good run the next few days so i can boil just got my evaporator and ready to use it for the first time. New to the whole sugaring thing and i cant wait neither can the kids. good luck to all.

Crown Point is about 100 miles north of albany right on lake champlain. Crown Point is a small town only about 1200 to 1500 people.

Im in saranac just to clear things up im about 45 minutes to from saranac lake and its been cold here today it was 40 and i tapped 2 trees and they were running suppto be warmer tomorrow then back to the 20's, I should be all tapped by this weekend if all goes well, going to pick up a surge alamo pump hope it works, i watned a surge pistion pump but i found one and they guy was nuts 800 bucks for one,this alamo i hope works good.

The weather is looking good for the upcoming week. I cant wait to give it a second try. Not good the first time hopefully the next time it comes out better.
