We started tapping Sunday. Still have 12"-15" of snow everywhere with a thick sheet of ice in the middle, and that makes it a lot more work. Ran the snow blower to make trails in the woods and did lots of shoveling to get to the trees. Winter has been cold with little melting. This year's spring thaw is going to be messy. Warm up traditional starts here the first week of March. We will be ready.
