Hi all , new to this forum. Just a hobby guy who has been dabbling in sugaring for 5-6yrs. (20 buckets) Need some advice on a container for the back of my pickup. Rubbermaid garbage cans (new of course) with lids just don't cut it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks rob

The best thing I got when I started was a good square poly tank. It has a bottom drain and I set it up on a pallet so the drain hose and valve set inside the pallet in the truck bed. Its 18 years old and I started with about the same amount of tap. Its one peice of equipment that I havent out grown or need to replace. Sounds like your already hooked so Buy the best tank you can afford and you will always be happy you did.

I agree with Haynes some of the small poly leg tanks are great for the pick up.

You can get the leg tanks in a 35 gallon size and would be a good size for you. I have a 65 and a 125 gallon tank also. The 65 gallon is about 20" high and 40" long.
