We put in about 500 to 600 taps today Friday 2/6/09 and will finish tomorrow with another 400 or so. Here we go. Good luck to everyone.

Gary,
Sounds like you are right into it. If you run out of stuff to do I have about 350 more taps to string up:) If I come over I will bring my own scouring pad:)
Hey, Nice job that you and Jan did on the NWPA maple meeting. We had a great time!
You may get a run on Sunday!
Regards,
Chris

Gary and Chris,
Since I've only been doing this a few years I try to keep an eye on you locals for when it's time to get started. Originally I was going to tap about the 21st but it sounds to me like I need to get moving. With only 40-50 taps to put out it doesn't take me that long, I don't know how you guys do the 500-1000 or more taps.
Chris, if we get a cool down this weekend and you still have some buckets left I would like to come look at them if you have the time.
Greg
