piggyback converted to back pan

Has anybody converted a piggyback pan into a back pan. It looks like it could be done.

I looked at a Piggyback pan last year , its a flue pan with a blower, I'm sure you could use it for boiling , but with the price they charge for it to make it what it is, I'd trade it for a pan.
