ways to become an equipment dealer

just curious as to how you become an equipment dealer. i know you have to know the equipment inside and out but what else????

I believe every company has diffrent rules on this, but it seems that most just want you to sign a form and buy some product each year. That may be changing though and they may ask that you sell more than so many dollars worth a year.
