Help at the BIG E

As always there are a lot of open spaces on the calender for the big E. If you can help out give Melanie Miller a call or email me and I will pass it along. I myself enjoy going down to promote NH MAPLE. It is a good time to meet new friends and a see other sugar makers from around the maple world. NHMPA will provide you with a place to stay if you are working more than one day. We also will pay you a stipend which helps out with lunch etc.

The Eastern States Exposition Foundation (http://www.thebige.com/foundation/index.html) was created to maintain and develop programs that promote youth education, agriculture education, history and leadership.

You've really never heard of it? I have no excuse, it's right in my proverbial backyard.

802Maples' wife manages the VT sugarhouse at the Big E---She roped us into working last year. I have to say it was quite an experience, making candy for 10 hours a day, and not making any headway in the inventory!!

Clan, after reading your description I have heard of it. Never been but it sounds interesting.
