mapleman3, Clan D, What constitutes an 'active' member? I see we have 812 active members now.

I think its a way of telling our docters that were staying active during the winter so they dont worry. I tell my wife everyday when she gets home from work that I was "ACTIVE" most of the day.

My understanding is that an active member is one who either logs in to the site or posts to the site a certain number of times during a certain period. I'm afraid I don't know what those specifics are, but mapleman3 might. Each forum will have it's own settings. I assume we're using the default settings, but I don't know what those are.

Found it. This is how active members are defined:

Active Members Time Cut-Off
Enter a number of days here that represents a threshold for 'active' members. If a user has visited the board within the past number of days you specify, they are considered 'active'.

I just don't know what that specified number of days is. I suspect it's 30.

ACTIVE = steam flows freely from the sugarhouse minimum 6 weeks per year.
NON ACTIVE= you spend too much time on this site and not boiling

I wake up every morning and check the obituary in my paper. If I'm not there, I guess I'm still active!
