A buddy called and said he had seen an evaporator setup on a classified page. It was 42x64x12 and another pan 24x42 for 125 dollars.. I was on the phone in a heart beat.. They were galvanized... GRRRR.. I want stainless. Oh well too good to be true.. Plus I am heading to the other end of the state tomorrow morning anyhow.. But for stainless I would have taken the long way north.

They may have been english tin pans that may have still made some good syrup for you. You might want to check them out! some folks dont even know what they have but you might!
